WandUhr Privacy Policy

WandUhr is made by Doric Software LLC ("we"). This policy explains what the WandUhr app does with your information.

The short version: WandUhr doesn't collect any data. Everything stays on your iPhone.

What we collect

Nothing. WandUhr has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app does not connect to the internet, and we never receive your alarms, recordings, calendar, photos, or any other information.

What stays on your device

To work, WandUhr stores the following only on your iPhone:

• Your alarms and settings: times, labels, repeat days, and preferences.
• Sounds you record or import: saved in the app's private storage so they can play as alarm sounds.

This data is deleted when you delete the app. If you use iCloud or computer backups, Apple may include it in your device backup, as with any app.

Permissions WandUhr asks for

WandUhr only asks for a permission when you use the feature that needs it. You can change any of these at any time in the Settings app.

• Alarms: to schedule alarms that ring at the times you set, even in Silent mode or a Focus.
• Microphone: only while you record a custom alarm sound. Recordings are saved on your device.
• Calendar (optional): if you turn on Calendar Reading, WandUhr reads today's events on your device and speaks them aloud when you stop an alarm. Your calendar is never copied, stored, or sent anywhere.
• Notifications (optional): if an alarm is set to play a sound or read your calendar when stopped, WandUhr shows a notification you can tap to open the app. Notifications are created on your device; nothing is sent to us.
• Photos: when you import sound from a video, you choose the video with Apple's photo picker. WandUhr only receives the video you select, not your photo library, and keeps only the trimmed audio.

Spoken calendar events use Apple's built-in text-to-speech, which runs on your device.

Children

WandUhr doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date above. If the app ever starts collecting data, we'll explain what and why before it does.
